Scout camps

Scout camps and expedition base.

TrollAktiv can provide a great base for scout groups and other organisations to hold summer camps.  We provide all the logistic support, catering and accommodation necessary for such trips.  We can arrange airport transfers and trips to other attractions in Norway and beyond. 

A camp will often include a combination of organised activities with TrollAktiv such as rafting, wildlife safari or the high wire adventure park.  This can be followed by a series of activities run and organised by the group leaders.  Trekking and canoe trips are very popular.  Accommodation can be in your own tents, our teepees or cabins.

The local area is ideal for trips for beginners.  The mountains around the rafting centre are great for trekking at around 600M to 900M above sea level.  The Byglandsfjord lake is long and twisting leading into the river Otra.  This makes an ideal setting for canoe expedtions.  Many groups combine both trekking and canoeing on journeys across the mountains and down the rivers. We provide the transport, accommodation, catering and equipment for safe and succesful trips.
