TrollAktiv AS operate from Setesdal Rafting & Activity
Centre, situated beside the river Otra, 7 km north of the town
of Evje. At the centre we cater for:
- Corporate groups
- School parties
- Individual tourists
- Outdoor education courses
TrollAktiv was established in 1994 and has developed
a wide range of activities and long experience. We
offer 20 different activities all within 10 minutes
driving distance of our rafting centre. All of these are
organised as half day packages. We provide;
- Quality adventure products with safe and professional
guiding.
- Clean accommodation, wholesome food and a friendly
service.
Setesdal Rafting Centre is located beside the
Syrtveit waterfall on the river
Otra. Adjacent to the rafting centre we have
a campsite equipped with Lapland tepee style tents. From the
campground we have direct access to the river for all water sports.
The centre operates as a youth hostel with accommodation
in twin and family size rooms. We have on
site sporting facilities such as climbing walls, sand
volleyball, basketball, table tennis, a children's play
area. We also offer rental of:
- Mountain bikes
- Inline skates
- Fishing rods
- Canoes
- SUP (Paddle boards)
- River kayaks
In addition to the Youth hostel we also have a holiday house and
cabins for rent. The centre is summer open from April until
November and from January to april for winter
groups.
For corporate groups we have a conference room,
accommodation and provide catering with all our programmes. We
have a close partnership with Revsnes Hotel, a large comfortable
hotel in Byglandsfjord which is an ideal choice for groups.
We arrange many activity packages based at
the centre grounds and these include;
Rafting, river kayaking, riverboard & pro rafting, SUP,
mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing, trekking, inline skating,
team challenges, fishing, paintball, archery, axe throwing,
high ropes adventure activities, Battlefield Live.
The activities we arrange on Byglandsfjord, 5 mins north from
the centre include:
- Sailing,
- Windsurfing,
- Water skiing and
- Wakeboarding,
- Banana boat or Bronco trips.
Activities we arrange from Mineralparken 10 min south from the
Rafting centre are; The Climbing forest (High wire adventure park)
bronco trips.
During the winter months it is possible to hire the building as
a base for ski trips or to book a winter activity package with us
and let us take care of all the instruction and ski hire.
