Ski trips for schools

TrollAktiv AS have developed over many years special winter programs for school groups.  The packages can run from 3 days, 7 days or 10 days.  The aim of each package is to give a action packed multi activity winter experience.  We arrange each package with a selected combination of exciting winter activities.  The packages can include;

Nordic skiing, Snow shoeing, igloo & snow hole building, winter survival techniques, sledging & tobogganing, ice fishing, avalanche awareness sessions, ski jumping, overnight stays in teepees and mountain huts and if the conditions permit it is possible with an introduction to ice climbing.

The package will be planned carefully with each group.  We will include the elements that best suit the previous experience and age of each group.  Fun and learning in the winter environment is aim, therefore sound planning for each package is very important.  We use the local mountain area around the Raftingsenter for all our activities.  The ski area of Høgås is 15 mins by minibus and for mountain hut trips we head to Ljosland & Lakkenstova which is 1 hour by minibus.

We offer full board or self catering accommodation in the raftingsenter.  We hold all the necessary equipment such as skis, boots and safety equipment, for these trips. We keep the group sizes to only one school class at a time during the winter months.  So book early to reserve your trip.
